GameSwap - Our Picks for Top 4 Games on the PlayStation - Our Guide

If you own the Xbox One X, you pretty much own the most powerful console in the world. It'll easily pump out games in 4K resolution, giving you the ultimate immersion into the games you play. Of course, the console is only going to be useful if you have games to play on it in the first place.

That said, if you're wondering what games out there you should be playing on the Xbox One X, here are our top recommendations:

1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Even if you've never watched Netflix's adaptation of The Witcher, you must give the game a go anyways.

While the game has been around for quite some time, the Xbox One X allows you to view the game as it has never been seen before. Savor every moment of your journey with Geralt, the Witcher, as he battles monstrous creatures all in the name of coins, all in higher resolution!

2. Red Dead Redemption 2

Just like The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption has also been out for a while. You might've even played it already. However, if you haven't touched the game on the Xbox One X, you have yet to see what it can show you.

While you might have played the game in "4K," any other console that isn't the Xbox One X only runs the game upscaled, meaning that you're playing in a lower resolution and often in a lower frame rate. Seriously, once you play the game on the Xbox One X, it would feel like it is your first time playing all over again.

3. Sea of Thieves

Are there any other games that you give a simulation of a pirate's life, battling it out against other pirates at the mercy of the ocean? We doubt it. If you've got a bunch of friends, grab them and bring them on a pirate's adventure.

If you think you've felt immersed in the game playing it on none-4K resolutions, you'll seriously feel the difference once you boot it up on the Xbox One X. Don't be surprised to find that the sunrise you woke up to has suddenly turned into the sunset.

4. Crackdown 3

The game has Terry Crews in it. Need we say more?

Though, while the game isn't too different from the first or second installment, it'll give you just about the same amount of fun. It is perfect for when you've just had a long hard day and want to beat up some baddies. Well, since you're in a dystopian future with all the shining lights and details, the Xbox One X is just going to capture all of that in even more detail! Just think about beating up the bad guys in high resolution.

5. Halo 5: Guardians

While Halo 5: Guardian's storyline isn't the best in the franchise, we can forgive it for its utter beauty in level design and gameplay. With the Xbox One X, you take that to a whole new level. That said, even if you don't own the Xbox One X but is a massive first-person-shooter fan, you must give the game a try!

Conclusion

While you can try out the games we've mentioned here, there's just a whole host of games you can enjoy on the Xbox One X. Really, though, you should be playing what you love. That said, you can always experiment with new games, and with the Xbox One X, you don't have to worry about not having the specification to make the most out of the game at all!
